System Installation and Integration Technician
PAE is currently seeking a System Installation and Integration Technician to support US Embassy Operations Worldwide.
The System Installation and Integration Technician will:
Work on complex integrated security systems at sensitive Government facilities.
Install AACS hardware, intrusion detection, CCTV equipment and public address systems.
Participate in design reviews with engineers, project managers, and estimators.
Use diagnostic equipment/software and established troubleshooting techniques to isolate network deficiencies, equipment failures, and operational anomalies.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and other specifications, as required, to determine and correctly follow installation procedures.
Plan new or modify existing designs to minimize wasted materials.
Design and install systems with easy access for future maintenance and with cost mitigation in mind.
Perform installations based upon specifications, design, building codes, application guidelines, and Department of State standards.
Travel to Worldwide locations as required.
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of relevant work experience with an electronics systems background is required.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Must have a strong working knowledge of the NEC.
Must possess an active secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret.
Must be willing and able to travel internationally up to 75% of the time.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
