The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) mission is to preserve and promote public confidence in the U.S. financial systems by insuring deposits in banks and thrift institutions for up to $250,000; by identifying, monitoring, and addressing risks to the deposit insurance funds; and by limiting the effect on the account and the financial system when a bank or thrift institution fails.
CSRA provides the day-to-day operational services to FDIC in support of infrastructure, facilities, hardware, software, and systems. CSRA supports operational security, client support/help desk, data center operations, asset management, and systems engineering service areas.
Essential Job Functions
Correspond with employees and external stakeholders to keep them informed of company developments
Create strategies to increase employee awareness and promote productivity
Communicate with the client and other interested parties to announce new products / services
Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads complex technical data for use in documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures and specifications to provide clients with information regarding
technical areas in a less technical way
Assists in establishing style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations to meet business needs.
Interviews programmers, engineers, developers, and other technical personnel.
Reads previous documentation and design notes, and uses computer based training or company technical products to gather and research
technical information for use in more complex documentation.
Writes, organizes, enters and compiles more complex online help files to support end users.
Writes, edits and prepares internal materials, including company publications, group emails, intranet pages, training materials and employee meeting materials for dissemination through organizational communication channels.
Develops, plans, writes, edits, and disseminates information to drive employee engagement through executive and enterprise communications.
Develops, recommends and maintains editorial policy and branding guidelines.
Anticipates and manages internal and external crisis communications.
Develops communication plans for company's operational or structural changes to ensure that change is managed effectively.
Monitors and responds to employee feedback regularly. Interviews source persons and researches subjects in order to obtain information and verify facts; assigns and/or directs graphic design and approves final proofs for print pages, web pages, and navigation.
Ensures all company compliance and ethics standards are met.
May coordinate production and distribution of materials.
Assists in creating project plan, etc. for completing documentation.
Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
BA or equivalent + 0 yrs experience
Knowledge of ITIL Processes
Strong writing skills; Must be able to intuit technical assumptions and compel SME input in a high-pressure environment.
Strong organizational skills; Must be able to multitask without sacrificing attention to details.
Able to work effectively with other groups and teams.
Must be able to come up to speed on new project areas quickly as this role will grow quickly

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
