User Experience Analyst

Key Role:
Interact with the application team, multiple application teams, or clients to support requirement implementation. Support various user research activities, including usability testing, surveys, card sorting, and interviews for various systems. Create wireframes for various systems, as needed, work closely with the UI Enterprise team to ensure all wireframes follow UI Enterprise standards, and work to add to those standards in cases where none yet exist. Collaborate with the UI designer to ensure that intuitive design is applied to the wireframes and successfully implemented by the development team. Examine analytic Web data, prepare reports for the client, and support client presentations on user research activity results. This position requires the ability to commute to team meetings, as needed, including those in the Herndon and Ballston areas.
Basic Qualifications:
-6 years of experience with UX/UI research and analysis methods and techniques
-Experience with creating and documenting information design concepts and solutions by various means, including wireframes, high fidelity prototypes, and task flow diagrams
-Experience with analyzing various forms of Web statistics, including Webtrends and Foresee
-Knowledge of prototyping tools used to develop wireframes, including Axure
-Ability to prioritize issues and successfully balance speed and quality to ensure the best user experience
-Ability to be a team player that can build relationships across project teams to effectively mediate and resolve issues
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
-Possession of excellent analytical skills, including the observation of user behavior and industry best practice
-Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present findings concisely and effectively and defend plans, recommendations, and conclusions based on research findings, analysis, and insights
-BA or BS degree in Interaction Design, New Media Design, or related design field preferred; MA or MS degree in Interaction Design, New Media Design, or related design field a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
