Policy Analyst - Counterproliferation Analyst (Job Number:423666)
SAIC is seeking a Policy Analyst - Counterproliferation Analyst to join our Arlington, VA team.
Provide onsite counterproliferation support to the Deputy Chief of Staff, Army G-3/5/7, Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction and Proliferation Policy Division (DAMO-SSD)
- Review and provide comment on CWMD-related and general requirements documents (e.g, Army Campaign Plan and Army Strategic Planning Guidance portions of The Army Plan, Quadrennial Defense Review, Unified Command Plan, combatant commands and ASCC plans
- Provide research and analysis of USG, DoD, Joint, and Army CWMD policy and doctrine, e.g., DoD Directive 2060.2.)
- Provide operations, program management, and information technology staff support to DAMO-SSD to assist the office in the execution of its responsibilities for developing Counterproliferation policy using database management computer systems; collecting, analyzing, presenting, communicating, and filing information related to Counterproliferation policy, implementation and compliance planning; and attending meetings, conferences, and briefings, as required
- Have full cognizance of the basic provisions of all existing and emerging Counterproliferation issues and initiatives that have a known impact upon the Army.
- Provide support for and/or attend meetings, conferences, briefings, seminars, training courses, Tanks, inspections and exercises as directed. This includes support for annual three-day Army Combating WMD Conference
- Monitor available information sources for items that have significance to the Army in matters relating to Counterproliferation-related matters
- Draft Army Executive Summary (EXSUM), Significant Activity (SIGACT), Information papers and trip reports
- Provide updates to Master Army NC2-ESI Roster
- Review monthly and update as required information located on the Counterproliferation section of the DAMO-SSD Webpage, to include the ACCWMD POC List
Required Experience/Skills:
- BachelorÔ€™s Degree in a field associated with Combating WMD OR 4 years in strategic analysis, policy formulation, or program oversight associated with Combating WMD or a related field, with demonstrated emphasis on Counterproliferation.
- Active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of and experience with Defense Support to Civil Authorities / International CBRN Response / Foreign Consequence Management / Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
