Enterprise IT Governance Specialist

Key Role:
Serve as an executive secretariat providing support to senior-level (SES) governance boards that oversee the implementation of a set of IT and infrastructure-related shared services used by multiple agencies. Coordinate with chief engineers, chief architects, and technical staff to enable effective decision making by governance boards. Leverage knowledge of IT to translate technical concepts that can easily be understood by non-technical staff. Develop meeting agendas, record and distribute minutes, assign and track actions, draft memoranda for signature by senior-level clients, and advise clients on appropriate topics and timetables for governance boards. Advise clients on how to optimally use the governance framework to achieve their goals.
Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with IT governance
-5 years of experience with the Army, DoD, or IC in a related field
-Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-Ability to be a team player and work in a collaborative environment
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with technical staff in a technical environment, including engineers and architects
-Experience with supporting senior and executive-level government clients
-Ability to coordinate and collaborate with governance counterparts across multiple component agencies
-Ability to display flexibility when working with highly motivated and driven clients
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize client requirements
-Ability to work well in a team environment
-Ability to communicative effectively with senior leaders and staff across agencies
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-MA or MS degree or 5 years of experience with analyzing IT-related projects in organizational efficiencies, operations, procedures, protocols, or risks
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
