Sr Mgr Business Development

The incumbent acts as USBD Air Force primary focal point for interaction with the DoD (AT&L) and USAF Acquisition community. As such, the individual should possess broad knowledge of all major USAF acquisition programs across its five core missions of (1) air and space superiority; (2) intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR); (3) rapid global mobility; (4) global strike; and (5) command and control. The individual will routinely interact with the USAF Service Acquisition Executive (SAE) and the AF SAE Military Deputy (SAF/AQ), as well as subordinate offices and Program Executive Officers in and outside the Washington DC area. In addition to an intimate understanding of the DoDI 5000.2 Acquisition process, the incumbent will act as the USBD AF team focal point in understanding and influencing the AF related Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process as well as the supporting USAF Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes. In this latter regard the incumbent will act as the AF Team Lead in analyzing the AF POM submission for Raytheon Corporate leadership. In these roles the incumbent will interact with Raytheon Business Senior leadership to include the Business Product Line VPs and Business Development Executives as well as routine interaction with pursuit teams and capture managers in support of the Raytheon Integrated Product Development System (IPDS). As such the incumbent is expected to routinely support strategy development, make recommendations on New Business Investment and support business ? Color Teams ? in pursuit of opportunities. The USAF BD Team is highly federated. Accordingly, the incumbent must maintain a high level of awareness across the entire array of USBD AF Team activities in addition to trusted relations with internal Raytheon Customers. Given the scope and importance of these activities, the incumbent must possess outstanding verbal and written communications skills, the ability to work with a diverse array of people in a competitive environment demanding a high level of trust, and the interpersonal skills to not only integrate with the AF Team, but the ability to guide Raytheon Senior Leadership towards pursuits in alignment with Raytheon goals and the needs of the Department of Defense. Required Skills: ? 12 years ? experience working in or in support of DoD Acquisition ? Intimate knowledge and competency in DoDI 5000.2 ? Knowledge of the USAF POM process with ability to comprehend and analyze AF Budget Documents ? General knowledge of Raytheon product lines and technologies applicable to USAF execution of its Five Core Missions ? Demonstrated ability as a team leader ? Strong communication skills ? Successful builder of relationships and trust with internal and external customers ? Strong problem solving skills ? ability to understand customer issues and concerns and be able to map out a satisfactory company response/approach that will still enable meeting corporate business objectives ? Ability to communicate highly technical issues to business executives and corporate decision makers Desirable Skills: ? Direct work experience in USAF Acquisition ? Existing positive relationships with DoD and USAF Acquisition Officials ? The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
