Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct background research that informs research exercises.
Assist with and contribute to all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research projects including study design, execution, and analysis.
Use research findings to craft talking points and other communications materials including television, digital, and mail advertisements.
Work with aligned organizations to develop messaging and messaging strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
2-5 years of communications, political, or policy experience required
Experience conducting or working with market research is ideal, but not required
Bilingual (Spanish) speaking and writing abilities would be a plus
Strong writing skills with the ability to craft messaging for diverse audiences and varied products
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated interest in developing communications abilities and responsibilities
Ability to take initiative, collaborate, and work independently while integrating a high degree of attention to detail and organization
Familiarity with and commitment to free-market principles
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Self-starter attitude and high sense of urgency

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
