VP, Capital Markets Officer

The Vice President, Capital Markets Officer position will be facilitating multiple private, agency and CMBS loan sales of the Capital Markets team during the year. Responsibilities will include working with the Production and the Underwriting teams in structuring and pricing all commercial and multifamily saleable real estate mortgage loans, providing comparative loan sale analysis, modeling securitizations and reporting on loan sales. For each loan sale, this person is integrally involved in loan sale planning, legal negotiations, investor relations, mortgage re-underwriting and internal reporting. Additional responsibilities will include trading agency MBS pools and whole loan pools.
1. Loan pricing/structuring 25%
2. Loan Sale Planning/Comparative analysis 15%

At least seven years experience with a securitized lending group
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent degree (an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred)
Clear understanding of commercial real estate mortgage finance
Proficiency in fixed income product and complex bond structures
Ability to value and reverse engineer agency and CMBS structure
Bond structuring expertise - proficiency with Bloomberg mortgage and preferably the Trepp system cash flow modeling program
Understanding of loan hedging fundamentals
Strong written and verbal communication skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
