Summary:
Chenega Government Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Specialist to provide desktop and network infrastructure services in support of DEA. Up to 70% travel required to primarily domestic locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)
Demonstrated ability to plan and lead site installation teams to include design, planning, installation, coordination, closeout, site documentation, and delivierables for each location.
Provide Internet Protocol (IP) conversion support (planning and actual work).
Provide support for all tiers of IP Dynamic Host configuration Protocol (DHCP) address management.
Provide Internet infrastructure support to include management of the server and firewall and all connections to campus buildings.
Provide fiber management support, to include tracking usage and updating documentation.
Provide floorplan updates and support for Firebird drop and installation layouts, by location, for new installs, relocations, and expansions of updated field locations.
Installation of Cisco routers, switches and wireless access points at DEA field offices.
Installation and relocation of network workstations, printers, and all other peripheral devices.
Installation, termination, and testing of network infrastructure to include Ethernet, coax, and fiber cable.
Verify and update master Firebird documentation for all work completed, to include but not limited to:
Site Survey Reports
As-Built Reports, to include site drawings and LAN configurations
Cable certifications
DEA-16's Receipt for Property Form for equipment transfers
Site sign-off package per location
Incorporate updates provided by other SI components

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical discipline or equivalent experience in lieu of degree is required
Minimum of 5 years' experience working in network engineering
Secret clearance is required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
