Summary:
Chenega Government Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide desktop and network infrastructure services in support of DEA. Up to 60% travel, primarily domestic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)
Install hardware and software on workstations and perform trouble shooting.
Repair and maintainence of over 3,000 workstations and servers on site, and support additional workstations and infrastructure across the United States.
Administrate and configure Firewall and Proxy settings on high speed internet.
Configure Cisco 1900, 2000. 3000, 4000, and 5000 series switches for headquarters and other locations.
Manage user accounts and DHCP servers corporate wide to make sure the stability of the network.
Telnet to different switches to make sure the stable connection and to view error log files.
Initiate implementation and integration of multiple LANs in a Windows 2000 and 2003, 2008 environment.
Run Batch files on daily basis to allocate IPs to various sites
Work with ISE and TACACS servers to perform switch and workstation configuration
Work on AD and Print servers to perform daily routine tasks.
Work with outside vendors to acquire various software and have them meet DOJ security requirements.

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical discipline or equivalent experience in lieu of degree is required. Minimum of 8 years experience working in network engineering. Secret clearance is required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience working in network administration and network infrastructure support.
Experience working in network administration and network infrastructure support.
Experience with configuring Cisco 1900, 2000. 3000, 4000, and 5000 series switches
Experience managing user accounts and DHCP servers
Experience Initiate implementation and integration of multiple LANs
Experience with Telnet

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
