Job Description:
CACI International Inc. has immediate openings for AV/VTC Technicians with JSP Support experience located in Arlington, VA. (Pentagon)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform Voice and Data Communications Engineering support under the VTC Support and Telecommunications Support with skillset in one or more of the following focuses:
VTC Support and Troubleshooting of Conference Rooms, Desk set-ups, and Scheduling
VTC Designing, Specification Development, and Procurement
VTC Management Systems Troubleshooting, Configuration, and Support
Hand-held Device Troubleshooting, Provisioning, and Configuration within a BES or GOOD server
Wireless Appliance Configuration, Deployment, and Troubleshooting
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under close supervision, assists in planning, evaluating, and/or coordinating the installation of local and/or remote data and voice communications equipment, such as, terminals, modems, video conferencing units, concentrators, minicomputers, central processing units, facsimiles, and pagers. Provides regulatory monitoring and voice network analysis regarding short and long range planning for in-house systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for participating in promoting, improving, maintaining and supporting all telecommunications services and/or systems.
Assists in the designs of networks or portions of networks that include selection of hardware and software packages.
Assists in voice network reconfiguration and billing reconciliation?s.
Helps to ensure that all software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed.
Develops or assists in the development of standards for carrier service and equipment.
Prepares or ensures that appropriate telecommunication documentation exists, including operational instructions.
Serves as a liaison to users, departments and vendors by providing the assistance on all aspects of telecommunications services and systems used throughout the organization.
Assists in all service / system upgrades while being a team player involving telecommunications and networking projects.
Performs or assists in the analysis in determining business process improvements utilizing the telecommunication systems.
Provides hands-on assistance involving troubleshooting and diagnostic support for all related systems, equipment failures or service issues.
May research available and emerging voice, data and video communication technologies to recommend future implementations.
Works closely with network administrators on communication and connectivity projects and maintenance.
Uses knowledge of current systems to promote beneficial capabilities and leverage use of the system's features.
Installs and tests communication equipment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor?s degree and two to four years of related experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
? Normal demands associated with an office environment.
? Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face.
? Some travel may be required.
Mandatory Qualifications:
? Must have an active SECRET clearance or higher and pass prescreening for TS/SCI.
Preferred Qualifications:
Six (6) months or more JSP or OSD or WHS experience supporting customers in the Pentagon, Mark Center, or Taylor Building.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
