Chemonics seeks a Technical Manager for a five-year USAID-funded task order under the Global Health Supply Chain ? Technical Assistance (GHSC-TA) IDIQ for work across francophone Africa and Haiti. The purpose of this project is to provide expert technical assistance to strengthen in-country health commodity supply chain system by strengthening end-to-end supply chain system implementation; improving collaboration to advance commodity security; and building supply chain management capacity in the context of global health security and emergency preparedness. This is a full-time position with residency in Washington, DC. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
+ Serve as technical lead for supply chain systems strengthening and operations work across the Missions supported by the Task Order, namely: Benin, DRC, Haiti, Senegal, and West Africa regional mission.
+ Provide overall project leadership, management, quality control, timeliness of deliverables and technical direction while ensuring compliance with USAID requirements, U.S. government regulations, and Chemonics policies and procedures
+ Maintain understanding of logistics and systems strengthening technical assistance.
+ At least seven years of experience working to strengthen supply chains at the global or country level; at least one year of experience leading a country field program preferred.
+ Experience managing consultants and/or technical experts at a global level.
+ A graduate degree in operations, management, international development, or public health. Possession of a bachelor?s degree in the same fields and an additional five years of work experience beyond the seven required above may be substituted for a graduate degree.
+ Experience recruiting, forming, and successfully managing diverse teams, preferably in developing countries working on projects and activities that require programmatic flexibility and cultural sensitivity.
+ Professional experience working in developing Francophone countries preferred.
+ Knowledge of the political, social, cultural, environmental, and development context of Francophone Africa and Haiti is a plus.
+ Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
+ Native or full proficiency in both French and English.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
