Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert

Redhorse is searching for a full-time Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert to join our team of Telecommunications professionals supporting a newly awarded multi-year contract engagement with the General Services Administration in the Washington, DC metro area. The primary work location for this assignment will be the Redhorse Arlington, Virginia office.


The Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for the following: Provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex to extremely complex systems in the subject matter area. Makes recommendations and advises on organization-wide system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking; telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis; software; lifecycle management; software development methodologies; and modeling and simulation.


Basic requirements and skills for the Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert include:


A Bachelor s degree in a related field such as computer science, business, engineering, or information systems.


16 years of related experience.


Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.


Familiarity with relevant federal technology issues, policies, regulation and practices is highly desirable.


Experience with presentation graphics and/or spreadsheet tools highly desirable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
