Provide direct support to PEO IWS for Electrical/Systems Engineering for Surface Weapons Vertical Launch Systems in the National Capital Region. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting with investigating and resolving ship weapon system design or ship system deficiencies or potential deficiencies, or alleged problems with Navy surface ships in any/all technical disciplines. Assist with investigating ways to improve ship combat system/weapon system design efforts which would substantially improve ship operational availability to the Fleet.
Participate in weekly staff meeting when required to review ship and program scheduled events requiring technical support, provide status of assigned action items, review other technical issues and discuss the pros and cons of proposed changes to combat system design or subsystems and/or components.
Coordinate with NAVSEA technical codes and Field Activities to ensure consistency of action to correct deficiencies and to obtain the benefit of lessons learned from other ship combat/weapon systems designs. Assist with preparing draft technical presentations, white papers and provide input for other presentations such as the Monthly Technical Issues Review for the Program Manager and special PM presentations to OPNAV, the Fleet, and other Navies or Government Agencies.
Assist with maintaining communications with NAVSEA, SUPSHIP, NAVAIR, and other commands, including laboratories and support contractors in resolving technical issues impacting (or have potential to impact) the design or performance of Navy Surface Ships. Attend technical design/system reviews, representing the program office at various technical and program meetings in the National Capital Region to resolve technical issues and develop program efficiencies.
Applicant must be familiar with Electrical/System Engineering concepts that can be applied to Navy Surface Weapons Systems to include design, construction, test and certification of Navy Surface Vertical Launch Systems. Candidate also must be able to apply emerging technology as it relates to the improvement of electrical systems engineering design. Applicant must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Applicant must be highly skilled in both oral and written communications to include creating briefs and developing white papers. The candidate must also be capable of productive and efficient work with limited or no supervision.
A BS in Electrical/System Engineering or equivalent is desired for this entry level position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
