Senior Accounting Manager

The Senior Accounting Manager will have an active role in the monthly account analysis, book close and for supervising the Accounts?Payable/Payroll Specialist, Staff Accountant?and Project Controller.
Account reconciliation and analysis:
Prepaid Expenses, Deposits, Accrued Expenses, Investments, ?Members Equity, Inter-company balances
Manage Daily Cash Flow.
Manage GSA Schedule 70 and GSA sales quarterly reporting.
Prepare monthly financial statements, financial packages, and other informational reports/analysis.
Journal Entries including maintenance of recurring journal entries and allocations
Coordinate the monthly book close
Supervise the Accounts Payable Supervisor
Supervise the Payroll Supervisor
Plan, coordinate and execute annual financial audit
Assist in the compilation of information for the Company?s annual tax returns
Government Contracts and Cost Accounting in Cost reimbursement, IDIQ, and Firm-fixed
Develop and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls
Special projects as requiredEnsure underlying accounting records are accurate, complete and in accordance with GAAP.
Review monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness and major variances between actual and budget results.
Approve monthly bank reconciliations.

Required Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
CPA Desired
3 to 5 years Government Contract accounting experience required
6 to 8 years? experience
Excellent communications skills required
Good computer skills including Microsoft Suite with emphasis on Excel, ADP or compatible payroll systems
Able to handle multiple tasks and stay organized
