DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation, a leading provider of audio visual integration solutions is looking for an Audio Visual Installation Technician in the Washington DC metro area.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands on experience installing integrated audio visual solutions including equipment such as video teleconference units, flat panel video screens and video walls, high end speakers, audio systems and video projection units.
Installation knowledge of the following A/V equipment such as Planar, Crestron, Extron, AMX, Jupiter and Biamp is desired.
Responsibilities
The Audio Visual Technician helps with the installation of A/V racks, VTC's, projectors, video wall and flat panel screens as well as other audio video equipment including, but not limited to, cabling, fiber optics, racking and mounting audio visual devices and control units.
Responsible for installing audio video products and components as specified by blue prints and to specifications.
Assist with A/V drawings and rack wiring design
Loading and configuration of AMX control systems
Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2 years installing and commissioning audiovisual equipment including video panels, speakers, racking, microphones, A/V cabling and wiring
Knowledge of loading and troubleshooting Planar, Crestron, Extron, AMX, Jupiter and Biamp control systems required (not programming)
Can read CAD generated prints
Must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problem-solving
Troubleshooting skills with the ability to do advanced troubleshooting on any device
The ability to lift 50-60 lbs., climb, crawl, and raise items overhead
Bachelors Degree Preferred
CTS or CTS-i certification desired
Top Secret clearance required
