Opportunity at a Glance
The Career Services Advisor assists students and graduates with obtaining employment and ensures accurate reporting of employment statistics.
Responsibilities
Ensures the accurate reporting of employment statistics through collecting, verifying and reporting of placement and salary information for graduates.
Advises students on career development, job search skills and industry trends in preparation for employment upon graduation.
Assists in analyzing information and preparing reports as needed for accreditation and state licensure, the college assessment program and other college departments.
Works in conjunction with the Office of Clinical Resources and the Healthcare Development Specialists to develop relationships with organizations in the healthcare field, in an effort to increase the number of job leads for students and alumni.
Participates in and promotes market career fairs and other college activities on a local and regional basis.
Assists the Senior Career Advisor in conducting surveys of employers and alumni.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's preferred

years in Career Services and Employer Relations preferred
One year experience in the Healthcare Industry
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong PC skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
