LMI seeks a DoD Program Manager to support our federal customer in Northern Virginia.
Responsibilities Responsible for business relationships with all stakeholders and partnersClient engagement with senior leaders and staffTrack cost, schedule and performance, as well as prepare documents and develop policy, procedures and report status to all levelsEnsure requirements are met including quality of product and services, cost control, timeliness and business relationsManage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and executionManaging task assignments and oversight of personnel to ensure excellence in services deliveryEnsure an adequate quality assurance program and process are in place and strictly adhered to for all products and servicesPrepare monthly cost reports and ensure such deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion and of high quality/accuracy.
When appropriate, propose a plan to correct any cost variances or projected rate adjustmentsDevelop briefing templates and governance requirementsPrepare executive reports and presentations, including all documentation requirements.
Track and review documents and guidance for improvementPrepare briefing charts, scheduled meetings, kept records and record minutes, prepared after-action reports in support of technical reviews and investment reviewsResponsible for managing all subcontractors engagedEnsure program compliance with government policies and mandates, and adherence to directives from governing entitiesAnticipates and resolves procurement challenges and problems, such as small business set aside goals, certification requirements, and acquisition strategyProvide subject matter expertise on government agenciesWork with a diverse set of stakeholders in geographically disbursed areas.
Support business development and bid and proposal efforts by acting as the overall solution architect for opportunities, bringing together capabilities across LMI to define a solution that meets and exceeds client expectations.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred10
years of experience in DoD program management5 years of personnel managementSecret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCIRequired certification:
Project Management Professional (PMP)Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environmentExcellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to communicate well with leadership, peers, and staff at all levels to facilitate excellent teamworkProven experience in pursuing and capturing new federal business, including building and leveraging relationships, developing effective teaming and win strategies, and writing winning proposalsExperience or training in structured capture management and proposal development techniques (eg, LCG, Shipley or SM&A) is a plusRequires a broad knowledge of large-scale program management with emphasis on cost and schedule management and multiple contract types; Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive (FPI), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
