Position Summary Director, Conservation Technology Strategy and Enablement (Director) will cultivate a community centered around collaboration and knowledge sharing so that solutions to address conservation challenges are scalable and can be extended more broadly.
The Director will provide insights and advice to frame challenges, evaluate alternatives, and identify optimal solutions for direct, effective implementation.
The Director partners with IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, architecture principles, and approved target states and patterns.
The Applied Conservation Technology team will report to this position.
The Director will collaborate with business stakeholders, the Chief Enterprise Technology Architect, and IT domain experts/leaders in providing the essential functions of this position and to deliver under the stated responsibilities and scope of the position.
This is an opportunity to create and lead a forward-looking conservation technology and enablement function to better serve TNCs conservation mission.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science Information Science or related field and 10 years of experience in Information Systems and/or IT operations or equivalent work experience8 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Technologies, Contextual Learning and Machine Learning solutions within a complex environment.
7 years of supervisory experience leading and collaborating with technical domain experts.
Progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
Strong experience in applying technology to develop innovative proof of concept solutions and collaborating to scale them to enterprise production implementations.
Proven success in delivering key initiatives, such as technology migrations, new product launches, deployment of business applications, and reducing costs and inefficienciesExperience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban supporting Agile efforts as well as knowledge of Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices.
Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills, ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with key business partners, including senior executivesExperience managing annual budget planning activities and managing to those established budgets.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred but not required:
MBA, MCS or similar field of education.
Expert knowledge of current and evolving trends in the field of IT.
Experience with AI/ML AI/ML algorithms, selection criteria and platforms and contextual machine learning.
Proven ability to leverage IT alliances and networks to achieve TNCs overall mission and to enhance TNCs position/standing with external constituents.
Results oriented, get things done leader with a history of success and the desire to help an organization evolve and grow.
Strong leadership skills with a bias towards Servant Leadership.
Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills including the ability to bring together various teams and resources to deliver results and possesses an understanding of how to utilize emotional intelligence when navigating the complexities of the position.
Experience driving discussions with senior management regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation.
Ability to foster an environment of creativity and professional growth.
Proven Big Picture thinking.
The ability to work effectively with ambiguity and create solutions to complex problems with a strong results orientation.
Ability to make and own tough decisions that may go against others opinions but are in the best interest of employees and TNC.

Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience appreciated.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
