Agile / DevOps Coach with Security Clearance

M9 Solutions is seeking a Agile/DevOps Coach to work remotely or onsite in Arlington, VA post COVID.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain a USPTO public trust clearance.
Responsibilities Be part of a team to lead the transformation to Agile/DevOps and Continuous Delivery across the organization.
Participate in agile process across multiple development teams.
Create process to perform continuous deployment, including full orchestration of deployment process.
Coach the teams with Agile/DevOps best practices to develop tools and scripts to improve efficiency of software delivery and deployment tasks.
Create and provide best practices to the organization for Agile/DevOps, builds, continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure.
Collaborate with the development and operations teams to implement monitoring processes and design/deploy monitoring dashboards.
Build and support test automation, deployment, and continuous integration tools.
This individual will be responsible for coaching agile development teams to effectively apply and improve upon Agile/DevOps practices.
Coach and assist the teams to continuously deliver the working software thru Agile/DevOps process.
Must be an experienced agile practitioner with prior DevOps/test automation coaching experience.
Should an in-depth understanding of the practice and principals of Agile/DevOps and test automation strategy, BDD.
Work closely with teams and team members to develop and perform activities allowing the development of agile skills and improvement of development processes.
Share their experience and observations with all team members and to make sure that the best practices are being used.
Help teams develop their Agile and DevOps skills in order to rapidly become self-sufficient and benefit from agile approaches.
More specifically, the team coach supports the development teams to do test automation, work with tech leads and Ops team to develop the DevOps pipeline and other development practices needed to enable teams to develop and deliver the shippable software to our customers quickly and effectively.
Ability to coach the teams to deliver continuously is the key responsibility for this role.
This coach promotes and facilitates, in a cohesive manner, the adoption of DevOps and Agility within teams and by organizations.
Agile Coach should have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and improving existing ones.
Establish, monitor, and update Agile/DevOps coaching plans for all teams being supported Review Inspect & Adapt metrics to help identify areas of improvement to teams Secondary
Responsibilities:
DevOps Certifications (AWS, Azure) or prior DevOps engineering experience highly preferred.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SA/SPC certification highly preferred.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification highly preferred.
Experienced with agile release planning and road map.
Experienced in product line management and product mindset is highly desirable.
Hands on technical experience coaching DevOps best practices to the product development teams Coaching teams to adopt continuous delivery mindset using DevOps Coaching experience in BDD/TDD and test automation strategies.
Experience in guiding the teams in expanding our automation framework to build and update the development, testing, and production environments (infrastructure as code).
Technical understanding and familiarity with DevOps tools such as Cloud bees Jenkins, Maven, GIT/SVN, SonarQube, Nexus, and Chef/Puppet etc.
Experienced working with an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.
(Rally, JIRA, Version One, etc.
) Preferred.
Knowledge of Cloud best practices, operations, and security within Azure and AWS.
Demonstrated ability to work with direction as well as to work independently, to find and discover issues and to solve problems with limited guidance in a fast paced, highly visible environment Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.
Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.
Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities.
Interview campus and/or experienced candidates.
