Sr. Outposts Supply Chain Manager
This role is with our AWS Outposts Operations team - delivering a new way for Infrastructure to be delivered to our customers.
AWS Outposts brings native AWS services, infrastructure, and operating models to virtually any data center, co-location space, or on-premises facility.
Customers can now use the same AWS APIs, tools, and infrastructure across their on-premises and the AWS cloud to deliver a truly consistent hybrid experience.
The provided AWS Outposts infrastructure is fully managed, maintained, and supported by AWS directly to deliver access to the latest AWS capabilities for our customers.
We are seeking an experienced Sr.
Supply Chain Program Manager to join our team.
This individual should be interested in working with a new technology product for datacenters.
They will influence multiple stakeholders and own defining and driving manufacturing and supply plans, to support customer demand impacting global markets.
This individual needs to have a passion for ownership, ability to work in ambiguous environments, thrive in pioneering new processes, and able to develop relationships cross functionally and globally.
Skills and responsibilities include:
o Develop and manage project timelines and resources and ensure risk mitigation actions are identified and in place to ensure successful program launcheso Create and clearly communicate supply schedules and demand, priorities, and status to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
o Ability to lead and coordinate with multiple global and cross functional team to achieve goals including hardware engineering, quality, test, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.
o Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal and external teams to arrange and drive vendor enablement.
o Work with external vendors, understanding forecast and demand planning requirements across multiple geographieso Demonstrate ability to work in a self-directed manner, seeking out areas that need attention, rather than being asked to look at specific problem areas.
o Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies.
