Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the analysis, design, code, test, documentation and support of new software applications and enhancements to existing applications.
Contribute to the preparation of specifications to resolve business client questions.

Analyze and document how business requirements fit into existing systemAssist others in refining system specificationsParticipate in gathering specifications from usersTranslate detailed program specifications for less complex problems and clearly defined segments of more complex programs into coded computer instructionsCreate and/ or modify programs to adapt to changes in needs and requirementsTest coded program routines and make revisions to eliminate errors, with supervisionReview test results with users, complete final program documentation, and obtain approval for changesAssist in on-the-job training of less experienced programmers Minimum Skills and Competencies:
