Vintage Kung Maisterstuck Tenor Recorder with Keys for sale in Arlington, VA
This beautiful Kung tenor recorder was purchased in NYC in the early 1980s. It probably has been played for about 1-2 hours at most, and then stored in a case. Note the case is not a standard recorder case (case is homemade) - but it has protected it well, and will be shipped in it, along with added cushioning and another box around it. It has the following imprinted: Hargail, NYC. Kung Maisterstuck, 7D7, as you can see in the photos. The Kung company provided this information: Palsandre/Rosewood. Built in 1977 in Schaffhausen. It has a lovely tone. Sadly, I never was worthy of this instrument, and it needs to go to a home where it will be played. Excellent condition as its been sitting in my home in a protective case for decades. note - there is only ONE metal key covering ONE hole. tried to add a picture of this, by deleting one so i could add - but adding a picture doesn't seem to be working.
